Invitation to a meeting with Roberta Metsola

The Office of the European Parliament in the Czech Republic and the University of Economics in Prague cordially invite you to an unusual meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, entitled: “Deciding together: what kind of Europe do we want?”.

WHEN: Wednesday 14 February 2024, 17:00-18:00

WHERE: The Prague University of Economics and Business, nám. W. Churchill 4, Prague 3 in the auditorium RB 101

The discussion will be held in English and it will be possible to submit questions directly from the audience or via the Sli.do app. Access is possible only for registered persons. After the discussion, participants are invited to an informal part of the meeting with refreshments.

Roberta Metsola

Roberta Metsola is a politician originally from Malta. She has been politically involved since her youth and actively supported Malta’s accession to the EU. She studied Law at the University of Malta and European Studies at the College of Europe. In 2013, she became one of the first Maltese MEPs in the European Parliament. She was elected First Vice-President of the European Parliament in November 2020 and President of the European Parliament on 18 January 2022.
